Rafa began working in the industry at an early age, accumulating thirty years of experience, working his entire life in this industry. He started out in his hometown running several successful businesses before he turned 25. Then moved to Marbella, where he lived and worked for another six years, being responsible for “high-end” and “high-volume” business.
Before the age of 30 moved to London, where he has lived for the past 20 years and worked as a manager at several “high-end” restaurants such as The Fifth Floor Restaurant at Harvey, Nichols, Corrigan’s Mayfair, Buddha-Bar to mention a few, and for the past last 10 years fully dedicated to Novikov Restaurant & Bar London combining this, with the role of Head of Development for Novikov International where he was directly involved along with Novikov Group Moscow in projects such as Novikov Doha, Novikov Miami, Novikov Porto Cervo, Novikov Bodrum Asian at Yalikavak Marina, Novikov Istanbul at Mandarin Hotel, Novikov Bodrum Italy at Yalikavak Marina, Novikov Jeddah, Novikov Riyadh, Novikov LA, Novikov Oasis Riyadh at Saudi Arabia, Novikov Café in Dubai Mall.
Rafa’s best skills include negotiating, collaborating, project management, restaurants openings, organizing, finance, restaurant design, EPOS system’ database, staff training, problem-solving, motivation and excellent leadership. In addition to having extensive international experience in the restoration field in Europe and the Middle East; Rafa places great emphasis on the human factor, in the spirit of teamwork, knowledge sharing, support for growth… That is its raison d’être and why the R.O.T. project was born.
